Loreta P. Sepulveda

Human Resources Services

Loreta P. Sepulveda, was appointed as Director of the Human Resources Services on April 6, 2013. The Service consists of three sections: Human Resources Management, Employee/Labor Relations, and Employee Health and Safety. The Division is responsible for recruitment, certification, new hires, promotion/title changes and classification, resignations, service retirement and separations, personnel policy and procedures development, Employee Performance Assessment Review and training coordination. In addition, the Division oversees all payroll functions, salary adjustments, administration of health and dental benefits within the state benefits program, donated leave program, sick leave including, but not limited to, Federal Medical Leave and State Family Leave, and Employee Advisory Service.

Loreta brings over 20 years of public experience in human resources. She has extensive background in administrative procedures, recruitment, performance management, and human resource management. Loreta most recently served as the Director of the Human Resources Division within the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. Prior to that role, she held supervisory positions with the Superior Court and also with the Administrative Office of the Courts, providing overall supervision and support in related human resources activities.
