2011 Training Event Coverage
On June 15, 2011, the New Jersey Department of Health co-sponsored a training event for New Jersey healthcare providers. Perinatal Mood Disorders: Co-Morbidities, Management & Recovery taught healthcare workers how to recognize the co-morbidities associated with Intimate Partner Violence, explained the risks and benefits of medications prescribed to treat PMD, described the association between eating disorders and perinatal depression, and helped attendees relate to the personal experience of a PMD survivor.
