Sabrett Skinless Beef Frankfurters
On October 13, 1999 the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) advised the Department the Marathon Enterprises, Incorporated of Bronx, N.Y. is recalling specific lots of Sabrett Skinless Beef Frankfurters because of suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The product was sampled by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. To date, we are not aware of any cases of listerosis associated with the consumption of these products.
