Performance Evaluation of Local Health Departments

The Department is responsible for assessing local health agency performance and compliance with Public Health Practice Standards of Performance for Local Boards of Health in New Jersey (NJAC 8:52).

Activities include:

• Monitoring and  evaluation
  
• Routine site visits
  
• Field investigations and follow-up visits
  
• Consultative and technical Services
  
• Reviews of LHERs submitted annually to NJDHSS
