The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) will present its operational pandemic influenza response plan to more than 300 public health care partners on Wednesday, June 4, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Kenilworth Inn, Kenilworth.

DHSS Deputy Commissioner/State Epidemiologist Dr. Eddy Bresnitz and DHSS Senior Assistant Commissioner Dave Gruber will be joined by other Department staff to describe the key components of the plan.

The goal of the plan is the to help minimize illness and deaths during a pandemic, support New Jersey’s overall pandemic response plan, and provide guidance to local health agencies and health care stakeholders in the development of their own plans.

This is the last of three regional rollouts sessions of the plan. Earlier, state pandemic influenza experts described details of the plan to health care partners in southern and central New Jersey

Exit from the Garden State Parkway at 138. Make a left at the traffic light. As soon as you turn left, there will be a Shell Station and an A&P. Make a left between the two and it will take you into the parking lot.
