Newark– On Monday, November 23, Health and Senior Services Commissioner Heather Howard, joined by the New Jersey Dental Association, will announce the release of Exposing Diverse Students to Oral Health Professions, a unique tool kit designed to help anyone who works with students to encourage them to pursue careers in oral health.
The tool kit will be released at Central High School, 246 18th Avenue,
Newark on Monday at 10 a.m. Central High School is equipped with a state-of-the-art dental lab, where the event will be held, and offers students a dental program, which makes it a model high school and the perfect location for announcing this new resource.
The tool kit will be available on the Department of Health and Senior Services’ Office of Minority and Multicultural Health website at www.state.nj.us/health/omh as well as on the New Jersey Dental Association website at www.njda.org/.
