In recognition of April as Autism Awareness Month, Governor Jon S. Corzine and Health and Senior Services Commissioner Heather Howard will meet with more than 60 advocates and parents of children with autism on Thursday, April 30 at The Center for Neurological and Neurodevelopmental Health (CNNH) in Voorhees.

The Governor and Commissioner will highlight New Jersey’s progress in promoting early diagnosis and improved care for those with autism.

          At the 9 a.m. event, they will be joined by Mark Mintz, M.D., president and CEO of both the CNNH and the Clinical Research Center of New Jersey. CNNH is one of six centers of excellence for autism care funded by the Governor’s Council for Medical Research and Treatment of Autism.
