The notice of proposal to adopt new rules at  N.J.A.C. 8:43E-12 governing safe patient handling in health care facilities, which was published in the New Jersey Register on January 3, 2011 (43 N.J.R. 17(a)), contains an incorrect due date for the submission of public comments.    The correct due date for the submission of public comments is March 4, 2011.  A correction will be published in the New Jersey Register on January 18, 2011.

         The public has until March 4, 2011, to comment on the proposal.  Persons wishing to comment on the proposal must submit their comments in writing to Ruth Charbonneau, Director, Office of Legal and Regulatory Affairs, New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, PO Box 360, Trenton, NJ 08625.  Written comments on the proposals must be postmarked on or before March 4, 2011, which is the close of the 60-day public comment period for the proposals.
