Public Meetings

Governor Jon S. Corzine’s Commission on Rationalizing Health Care Resources will hold three public hearings on the acute-care hospital system in New Jersey and related issues for the Commission’s consideration.  The Commission recently issued a report which is available at: http://nj.gov/health/rhc/index.shtml.

The public hearings will be held as follows:

Monday, July 30, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Prudence Hall, Kelsey Building, Thomas Edison State College, 101 W. State Street, Trenton, New Jersey

Tuesday, August 14, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. in the East Ballroom, Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe, 100 Frank W. Burr Boulevard, Teaneck, New Jersey

Tuesday, August 28, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. in the George P. Luciano Family Center for Public Services and Leadership, Cumberland County College, 3322 College Drive, Vineland, New Jersey

The public may make oral comments to the Commission at the public hearings.  Comments will be limited to three minutes per person, although written comments may also be submitted at the same time.  Comments may also be submitted via the Commission’s website at http://www.nj.gov/health/rhc/contact.shtml.

The public may make inquiries to Maria Medina, Secretary, at (609) 633-3689.  Written and electronic comments, questions and testimony submitted to the Commission by the public, as well as transcripts, if any, of oral testimony, are government records and will be available to the public upon request.
