Walking Program for Adults 50+
Start with just five minutes a day four times a week. Add a few minutes
each week to your daily walk. Make walking a part of every day and see
and feel the results!
Walk with a friend, join a walking club, or walk by yourself
about 4 times or more a week for at least 30 minutes for 12 weeks and
receive a special New Jersey Walking Recognition Award.
Set reasonable 'do-able' goals.
Work up to 30 minutes of regular physical activity
on most or all days of the week.
Log your mileage in your walker's logbook each time
you walk.
