| | Mt. Olive High School participates in FIRST (For Inspiration and Research in Science and Technology). FIRST inspires |
| | students to be enthusiastic about engineering by having student groups build robots and participate in competitions. |

| | Mission: |
| | Professors from County College of Morris created M.O.R.T University to prepare students for building the robot by |
| | providing them with the technical skills training, computer programming and mechanical design applications. |

| | Goal: |
| | Students learn programming on BASIC STAMP microprocessors and develop machine tool and fabrication skills. |
