OQMP is responsible to assure that the Quality Management System is in keeping with the Values and Operating Principles set forth in the Path to Progress (Plan), to continually assess, review, and improve the Plan to ensure that it is providing what is needed by those it serves. In addition to the monitoring of health and safety that occurs for all individuals in the community, a series of Quality Reviews are being conducted at 30, 60, 90 and 180 day intervals and annually thereafter for a period totaling three years for those people who have transitioned to the community from a Developmental Center or Psychiatric Hospital.
OQMP is responsible for oversight of the Review and Qualification of applicants for the Olmstead-Open Enrollment RFP Application process.
C-PEP’s goal is to identify successful strategies and models to develop “instate community residential” capacity and infrastructure to serve New Jersey children and/or young adults ages six (6) through twenty-one (21) who have been placed out-of-state or are at risk of out-of-state placement because of their significantly challenging behaviors or medical needs.
The Office of Quality Management and Planning along with the Boggs Center has developed performance indicators to measure the outcomes of the C-PEP project and the individuals served through the project.
The Planning, Research and Information Support group assists Division staff and works with outside entities to collect, review, summarize, evaluate and distribute information supporting the Division’s planning, evaluation and quality improvement activities.
Specific activities include:
- Assist Division staff obtain and interpret information as it relates to policy issues relevant to the Division.
- Oversee development and conduct of, and analysis/interpretation and dissemination of research/evaluation efforts of the Division.
- Evaluate, prepare and distribute summary analysis of existing data/information maintained or collected by the Division.
- As directed, represent the Division with other Departmental entities or outside agencies on issues related to research/evaluation and information-data/analysis interpretation/distribution.
- Prepare statistical data and research instrumentation which aid in the development of RFP/RFI and applications for grant funds to better serve people receiving supports from DDD.
- Participate in and support planning activities of the Division.
