With the launch of the Supports Program in 2015, the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) has begun its transition to a Medicaid-based, Fee-for-Service (FFS) system (see Fee-for-Service Implementation).
In the Fee-for-Service system, adults age 21 and older seeking DDD-funded services, including employment services, must be enrolled on one of two Medicaid waiver programs: the Supports Program or the Community Care Waiver (please see Employment and the Community Care Waiver).
In the Fee-for-Service system, available employment services include Supported Employment (individual and group), Career Planning, and Prevocational Training. To learn more about all available services in the Fee-for-Service system please review the policy manuals for each waiver program:
To access DDD services in the Fee-for-Service system, an individual must have Medicaid and must maintain Medicaid Eligibility.
