In addition to the ADON’s 24 hour coverage, an Executive Administrator On Call (EAOC) and Medical Officer of the Day (MOD) provide coverage other than business hours, i.e., evenings/nights/weekends and holidays. “Off-hour” is referred to as “tour of duty.” The ADON's report all unusual circumstances to the EAOC who acts on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer during his/her tour of duty. The EAOC reports any serious or newsworthy events to the CEO or designee. The EAOC and MOD can be reached through the hospital operator at (609) 633-1500.
