FARA allows users to retrieve notifications for those applicants fingerprinted for certain programs by the Department of Human Services or the Department of Children and Families.

BEFORE PROCEEDING PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:
To access the Fingerprint Approval Retrieval Application, you will need:
- Internet Explorer version 11 (REQUIRED) - we are unable to provide technical support in obtaining Internet Explorer version 11
- For recently printed applicants:
- The TCN (click here for instructions on how to obtain the TCN)
- The contributor case number
- The fingerprint date found on the IdentoGo by Idemia receipt
- For those agencies required to archive:
- The TCN (formerly the PCN) found in the new PCN column (this column will still say PCN on the spreadsheet) on the completed IdentoGO by Idemia archived spreadsheet
- The contributor case number (your agency’s license number or certificate number or cost code)
- The fingerprint date found in the processed date column on the completed IdentoGo by Idemia archived spreadsheet
Additional Information
- Availability of notifications can vary from 1-10 business days, please allow 10 business days before contacting the Employment Controls and Compliance Unit (ECCU)
- Agencies must obtain applicant notifications within 730 days
- Notifications beyond 730 days will not be available in the FARA system - applicants with a print date exceeding 730 days will need to be fingerprinted again
- If you do not have the TCN, you must use the Fingerprint Result Request Form and follow the instructions on the form (this form can also be found in the ‘Related Links’ box above)
- The Employment Controls and Compliance Unit (ECCU) cannot provide notifications beyond 730 days
- Notifications can only be retrieved for applicants printed for your agency
- Applicants previously fingerprinted for another agency must be fingerprinted again under your agency’s license number or certificate number or cost code; notifications cannot be transferred from one agency to another
