During the Fall 2000 semester, Partnership for a Drug-Free NJ test-marketed a new comic strip, titled 'Over the Limit' at Seton Hall and Ramapo," said Angelo Valente, PDFNJ Executive Director. "This comic strip dealt with the issues of alcohol abuse - and alcohol abstinence - on college campuses in a humorous but honest manner." The strip was drawn by Robb Armstrong, a professional cartoonist, and published in the Setonian and the Ramapo News, the student papers of Seton Hall and Ramapo, respectively.

Bringing Robb Armstrong, a nationally recognized cartoonist, on board to work with us in developing the series and penning the strip brought instant credibility. The input from various student groups, substance abuse prevention professionals, and members of the New Jersey ABC provided firsthand input and a sensitivity to the messaging towards students.”
