Preparation and Maintenance of Client Records

Take notice that the Office of Administrative Law has discovered a codification error in N.J.A.C. 13:44G-12.1. The paragraph in subsection (e) is codified as a subparagraph rather than as a paragraph, and that miscodification is corrected herein. This notice of administrative correction is published pursuant to N.J.A.C. 1:30-2.7. Full text of the corrected rule follows (addition indicated in boldface thus; deletion indicated in brackets [thus]): 13:44G-12.1 Preparation and maintenance of client records (a)-(d) (No change.) (e) The social worker shall retain the permanent client record for at least seven years from the date of the last entry, unless otherwise provided by law, or in the case of a minor, until age 25.
