Mr.
Eufrasio was indicted on 1/24/89 by the U.S. District Court for
the Eastern District of Pennsylvania for operating a racketeer influenced
and corrupt organization, interference with commerce by extortion,
illegal gambling business and aiding and abetting. The indictment
alleges that Mr. Eufrasio is a member of a criminal enterprise,
which includes such persons as Nicodemo Scarfo and Salvatore Merlino.
An affidavit of Thomas Connor, a special agent for the Pa. Crime
Commission, identified Mr. Eufrasio as a criminal associate of Nicodemo
Scarfo and Santo Idone, a Bruno family capo. |
