Teaneck Township, N.J. – Detectives from the New Jersey State Police Trafficking North Unit, and members from the New York Drug Enforcement Task Force Group T-42 (NYDETF), arrested Miguel Armenta-Villa, 25, of Bakersfield, California and seized 22 kilograms of heroin as the result of an investigation that spanned three weeks.
On Friday, September 4, State Police detectives, along with members of NYDETF, which is comprised of agents from the U.S. DEA, New York Police Department, and New York State Police, with additional assistance from Bergen County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit, arrested Miguel Armenta-Villa at 620 Bryant Avenue. Detectives subsequently searched the residence and seized 22 kilograms of heroin, which equates to 1.1 million decks with a street value of $3.5 to $5 million.
