On Saturday, April 1, 2000 the John Tathum General Assembly and the Burlington County Chapter, Knights of Columbus will honor Major General Paul J. Glazar, The Adjutant General of New Jersey at a special banquet at the McGuire Air Force Base Officers Club.

General Glazar, the 29^th Adjutant General of New Jersey, is a member of the Governor's cabinet and has served in the Army National Guard for more than 34 years. As The Adjutant General, Glazar commands the more than 10,000 members of the New Jersey Army and Air National Guard, is the "Commissioner" of the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, and is responsible for the administration of veterans programs and services within the state. The General also serves as the Vice-President (Army) of the National Guard Association of the United States, Chairs the Adjutants General Association of the United States (AGAUS) Training Committee, is the AGAUS Northeast Area Representative, and is on the Force 21 Training process Action Committee.
