Chief Warrant Officer Five Albert G. Curving was recently selected as the Command Chief Warrant Officer of the New Jersey Army National Guard. In his new position, Mr. Curving will serve as the principle advisor to the Adjutant General, Major General Paul J. Glazar, on the Warrant Officer Corps; and will serve as a member of the Adjutant General's primary staff. Mr. Curving was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force from Prospect Park, N.J., in 1964 to 1968, and later enlisted in the New Jersey Army National Guard in 1976. In 1988, Chief Curving went on active duty status in the NJARNG. Chief Curving resides in East Amwell, N.J. with his wife Joyce Marie (nee Hamilton). Their daughter Tammy lives in Little Neck, N.Y., with her husband Roy Mangione and children Anthony and Tara. Their oldest son Floyd Tallman lives in Hawthorne, N.J., with his wife Jennifer and children Peter and Alex; and their youngest son Michael attends Rutgers University. The Chief is a 1964 graduate of Manchester Regional High
School, Haledon, N.J. He holds an associate in science in Management,
bachelor of science in Business Administration, and bachelor of arts in
Social Science and History from Thomas Edison State College of New Jersey.
