seeks volunteers for Battleship New Jersey
Do you want to volunteer your time and
labor to help get the USS New Jersey ready for her opening to the public?
The Home Port Alliance is looking for
volunteers to work weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., to do tasks such as –

Scrape off old paint
-
Apply new paint
-
Repair hatches and doors
-
Clean and prepare living quarters
for museum displays
-
Work in the wood shop creating the
teak wood plugs to cover the exposed screws in the decking
If you are interested, please contact
the Home Port Alliance to get an application. No military background
is needed and the Alliance is looking for both men and women.
