Teaneck Resident Chosen Employee Of The Quarter

Col. Maria Morgan (center), The Deputy Adjutant General of New Jersey, New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, presented Mary Carroll (right), Assistant Director of Nursing Services at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Paramus the award, during a ceremony at the National Guard Training Center at Sea Girt.TEANECK, NJ - On July 9, Teaneck resident Mary Carroll received the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Paramus Team Award for the Second Quarter.

 Mary Carroll received the award for her “dedication and dependability to the residents and staff of the Veterans Memorial Home. (Her) professionalism, knowledge and on the unit accessibility has created an avenue of communication between the nursing office and the nursing staff.  (She helped) write new standards to keep up with the changing health needs of the veterans they serve.”

The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs which is the state headquarters for both the New Jersey Army and Air National Guard and responsible for the administration of state veterans programs, has more than 1,500 employees at 60 locations throughout the state.
