Local Resident Chosen Employee
Of The Quarter
VINELAND, NJ - On Wednesday, April 24, Vineland resident
Marvella James-McIntosh was selected as the Vineland Veterans Memorial
Home 2001 Employee for the Fourth Quarter.
Col. (ret.) Michael Smith, New Jersey Department of Military
and Veterans Affairs (NJDMAVA) Chief of Staff presented Marvella James-McIntosh,
Human Services Technician Unit 1-B, the award, during a ceremony at the
Lawrenceville National Guard Armory.
As a certified Nurses Aide and a Vineland employee for
more than 20 years Marvella James-McIntosh works in a 50-bed unit assisting
in the care of the Home’s residents.
The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs which
is the state headquarters for both the New Jersey Army and Air National
Guard and responsible for the administration of state veterans programs,
has more than 1,500 employees at 60 locations throughout the state.
