Local Resident Chosen Employee
Of The Year
PLAINSBORO, NJ - On Wednesday, April 24, Plainsboro
resident Nancy Rowbotham was selected as the New Jersey Department of Military
and Veterans Affairs Installations Division (NJDMAVA) Employee of the Year.
Nancy Rowbotham, a Special Staff Officer for the Department
was presented the award by Col. (ret.) Michael Smith, NJDMAVA Chief
of Staff, during a ceremony at the Lawrenceville National Guard Armory.
Nancy Rowbotham was the project officer in the design
of several construction and renovation projects valued at more than $3.1
million. Her design efforts directly and effectively contributed
to the quality of life at numerous New Jersey National Guard facilities.
She was responsible for the timely design and construction award for an
18,343 square foot facility at Sea Girt.
The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs which
is the state headquarters for both the New Jersey Army and Air National
Guard and responsible for the administration of state veterans programs,
has more than 1,500 employees at 60 locations throughout the state. |
