New Jersey Air National Guard Unit Deploys to Germany

Approximately 30 New Jersey Air National Guard members of the 108th Air Refueling Wing, McGuire Air Force Base, will leave on July 7 for Geilenkirchen, Germany, for a two-week deployment supporting the NATO mission.

Members of the wing’s Operations and Logistics Groups will provide air refueling training to NATO pilots.

The wing routinely deploys its people around the world to perform military missions. They have been to Turkey and Saudi Arabia enforcing the no-fly zones over Iraq, and have also deployed to Oman, Spain, Italy, Kuwait, Japan, Korea, and Panama.
