Details: The 1st Battalion, 150th Aviation of the New Jersey Army National Guard will hold a Change of Command Ceremony for the outgoing commander Lt. Col. John Dinapoli and the incoming commander Lt. Col. Robert F. Vicci. The 1st Battalion, 150th Aviation has been in the forefront of Homeland Defense. Following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the United States, Aviation personnel supported New Jersey State Police and the FBI by flying Anthrax evidence from contaminated locations throughout the state to Ft. Detrick, Md., for analysis. Members of the 1st Battalion, 150th Aviation have served in Desert Storm/Desert Shield, and deployed to Bosnia, Panama, and other locations throughout the world.
