Forces Building Ground-Breaking Ceremony
Media wishing to attend should contact the Public Affairs office at (609) 645-6005 by 3 PM, September 13. Details: The 177th Fighter Wing, New Jersey Air National Guard, based at Atlantic City International Airport, will be breaking ground on their new combined Security Forces and Communications Flight Facility. This $6.3 million, 27,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility will replace the existing outdated Communications and Security Forces buildings that are not commensurate with technology standards within these mission critical areas. Directions: to the 177th Fighter Wing: Atlantic City expressway East to Exit 12. Left on Wrangleboro Road/County Route 575. Right at the next traffic light (approximately 1.5 miles). Continue for 1.5 miles until you see a sign with an F-16 on it for the 177th Fighter Wing. Turn left into the main gate. Security will direct you once you have entered the installation.
