LAKE HOPATCONG, NJ - Brig. Gen Glenn K. Rieth, the Adjutant General of New Jersey, has selected Lake Hopatcong resident Brig. Gen. William J. Marshall, III, of the New Jersey Army National Guard as the Assistant Adjutant General.

Brig. Gen. Marshall will be assigned to Headquarters State Area Command, New Jersey Army National Guard at Fort Dix.  As the Assistant Adjutant General, he serves as a principle advisor to Brig. Gen. Rieth, the Adjutant General for the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. Brig. Gen. Marshall will  coordinate the activities of Headquarters State Area Command senior staff officers in reviewing readiness and quality of New Jersey Army National Guard programs.
