Sgt. Johnson received the award for outstanding service as the Military Personnel Technician for the 50th Personnel Support Battalion, New Jersey Army National Guard from Jan. 1, 2001 to Feb. 28, 2003.   “She supervises the battalion payroll; assists the executive officer and first sergeant with the officer effectiveness reports and the non-commissioned officer effectiveness reports, as well as single-handedly assembles and publishes a monthly battalion newsletter,” stated Lt. Col. Danielson, Commander, 50th Personnel Support Battalion.  “These achievements reflect greatly upon Sgt. Johnson, the Army, the New Jersey Army National Guard and the proud tradition of the 50th Personnel Support Battalion.”

The Army Achievement Medal is awarded to members of the armed forces who, while serving in any capacity with the Army in a non-combat area distinguish themselves by meritorious service or achievement.
