On Sunday, Sept. 11, at 9 a.m., the New Jersey Army National Guard and the 57th Troop Command will honor 30 Soldiers of the Headquarters, 50th Finance Battalion along with four members of the 350th Finance Detachment at the National Guard Armory located at 422 State Highway 12 in Flemington.

     This Freedom Salute Ceremony honors the Soldiers and their families as well as those who supported them during the unit's deployment to Iraq and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in support of Operations' Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.

     In addition to the troops' family members and friends, the event may include participation by Maj. Gen. Glenn K. Rieth – The Adjutant General of New Jersey, local elected officials, community representatives, senior members of the New Jersey Army and Air National Guard, veterans organizations and Family Program and Family Support personnel from around the state.
