Resident Joins New Jersey Army National Guard

Pvt. Michlik,
who is a graduate of East Brunswick High School, has been assigned to
Troop B, 5th Troop, 117th Cavalry located at the National Guard Armory
in West Orange. After attending Basic Training at Fort Knox, Ky., he will
begin his advanced individual training as a Cavalry Scout. The cavalry
scout serves as a member of scout crew, squad, section, or platoon in
reconnaissance, security, and other combat operations.
The Michliks
have two daughters who are also members of the New Jersey Army National
Guard as Medical Specialists with the 250th Support Forward Battalion
located at the National Guard Training Center, Sea Girt.
