Flemington Armory To Host Freedom Salute Ceremony
Who/What: The Leadership of the New Jersey Army National Guard will honor the Soldiers of the 150th and 350th Finance Detachments and the 444th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment that served in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, their families and those who supported them at a Freedom Salute Ceremony at the National Guard Armory in Flemington.
When: Sunday, March 12 at 1 p.m.
Where: The National Guard Armory in Flemington, 422 State Street, Flemington, N.J., 08822
The public is invited to attend.
More Details: In addition to the troops' family members and friends, the event may include participation by Maj. Gen. Glenn K. Rieth – The Adjutant General of New Jersey, local elected officials, community representatives, senior members of the New Jersey Army and Air National Guard, veterans organizations and Family Program and Family Support personnel from around the state. The Freedom Salute Campaign is the one of the largest Army National Guard recognition endeavors in history, designed to publicly acknowledge Army National Guard soldiers and those who supported them during the President's call to duty for recent military operations.
