State Veterans Cemetery And Memorial Home Join In Wreaths Across America Event
WHO/WHAT: The New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Vineland has been selected again this year as a location participant in the Wreaths Across America ceremony, with wreaths being placed on the more hundred gravesites located behind the home. The Civil Air Patrol Cumberland Composite Squadron Honor Guard from Millville will lead the event.
Section D of the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery will see about 100 graves receiving wreaths. Volunteers from several Civil Air Patrol units will be participating to include: Jimmy Stewart Composite Squadron, Twin Pines Composite Squadron, Pineland Composite Squadron and the Allentown Composite Squadron.
The wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery and all participants across the Nation will take place in synchronization at noon (EST). Every branch of the service will be represented in the ceremony honoring fallen soldiers, those who served and those currently serving in the Armed Forces.
WHEN: Saturday, Dec. 13 at 12-noon (arrive at 11:30 a.m.)
