Governor Jon S. Corzine To Review Troops Of New Jersey Army And Air National Guard

WHAT: Governor's 23rd Annual Military Review
WHEN: Saturday, October 14 at 9:30 a.m.
WHERE: National Guard Training Center, Sea Girt, N.J.
Media will be directed to the parking area upon entering the Training Center.
Governor Jon S. Corzine, the Commander-in-Chief of the New Jersey National Guard, will preside over the 23rd Annual Military Review.
DETAILS: Units of the major subordinate commands within the New Jersey Army and Air National Guard will form on the parade field and then pass in review of the Governor, the Adjutant General and key staff and VIPs. The units will be lead by the 63rd Army Band. Flyovers will be conducted by fighter, tanker and rotary wing aircraft before and after the ceremony. A field artillery battery will conduct a nineteen gun salute. Federal and state unit and individual awards will be presented…to include the Legion of Merit, Purple Heart, Commendation and Meritorious Service Medals. There will also be a deactivation ceremony of the 42nd Division Support Command. Static displays of selected National Guard and historical equipment and vehicles will be on hand.
