Freedom Salute Ceremony To Honor NJ Guard Soldiers At Fort Dix
Who/What: The Leadership of the New Jersey Army National Guard will honor the Soldiers of the 50th Personnel Services Battalion and 250th Personnel Services Detachment that served in Operation Enduring Freedom, their families and those who supported them while deployed to Afghanistan.
When: Saturday, April 14 at 2 p.m.
Where: National Guard Joint Forces Headquarters, Fort Dix
More Details: In addition to the troops' family members and friends, the event may include participation by Maj. Gen. Glenn K. Rieth – The Adjutant General of New Jersey, local elected officials, community representatives, senior members of the New Jersey Army and Air National Guard, veterans organizations and Family Program and Family Support personnel from around the state. The Freedom Salute Campaign is the one of the largest Army National Guard recognition endeavors in history, designed to publicly acknowledge Army National Guard Soldiers and those who supported them during the President's call to duty for recent military operations.
