Edison Resident Joins New Jersey Army National Guard

Pvt. Seickel, a Somerset Vo-Tech senior, has been assigned to E Company, 50th Main Support Battalion located at the National Guard Armory in Jersey City. After completing Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., she will attend Advanced Individual Training as a Chemical Operations Specialist. Chemical Operations Specialists are responsible for operating, maintaining or supervising the use of nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) detection and decontamination equipment.
