“Wreaths Across America ” Ceremony at Vineland Veterans Home

WHAT: Wreath-laying ceremony at the Veterans cemetery located on the grounds of the Vineland Veterans Memorial Home, as part of the nationwide “Wreaths Across America” project.

Thursday, Dec. 14 at noon
DETAILS: This year marks the 15th anniversary of holiday wreaths being sent from the State of Maine to Arlington National Cemetery. Each year the Worcester Wreath Company, along with many volunteers, make and decorate the wreaths that will adorn the headstones of more than 5,000 grave markers.
Worcester Wreath and the Civil Air Patrol are expanding the reach of the program by placing memorial wreaths at each of the over 270 state and national cemeteries and monuments across the country.
The Vineland wreath-laying ceremony will occur simultaneously with ceremonies across the country to include Arlington National Cemetery. |
