The New Jersey Air National Guard's 177th Fighter Wing will host an “Open House” at its Warren Grove Weapons Range on Wednesday, January 19, 2005.  The event will take place at the range itself located in Ocean County on the west side of County Route 539 (between mile marker 7-8) just north of the Garden State Parkway and south of Route 72.

      Scheduled activities include:

            11:30 am - Briefing on the operations and mission of the facility

            12:00 pm - Walking tour of grounds

            1:00 pm - Tactical aerial demonstration involving F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft from  

            the 177th Fighter Wing and A-10 Thunderbolts from the Pennsylvania Air National                   Guard unit stationed at Willow Grove Naval Air Station.

      The media are invited to attend.

      Events will take place out-of-doors… the range area is predominantly sand and scrub pines.  Please dress accordingly with appropriate footwear.

      In the event of inclement weather, the “Open House” will be rescheduled to January 20, 2005.
