New Jersey National Guard Celebrates Diversity
Who/What: Soldiers, Airmen and civilian employees of the New Jersey National Guard will celebrate Unity Day
When: Thursday, June 15 beginning at 10 a.m.
Where: Joint Force Headquarters – New Jersey (Building 3650), Fort Dix, N.J.
More Details: The New Jersey Army and Air National Guard will celebrate Unity Day on June 15, at Joint Force Headquarters – New Jersey at Fort Dix. The theme for Unity Day 2006 is “Passport to Diversity.” Maj. Gen. Glenn K. Rieth, The Adjutant General of New Jersey is the keynote speaker. The program will include a drill team demonstration by the New Jersey National Guard ChalleNGe Youth Academy cadets, bagpipers, Miss USO 2006 – Stacie Wells, multi-cultural displays and a truly unique multi-ethnic food sampling experience. Also, the Federal Women's Program, Buffalo Soldiers, Tuskegee Airmen, Fort Dix Army Community Service International Spouses Club and N.J. Army and Air National Guard Recruiting are just some of the groups that will be attending the event.
