Former Deputy Adjutant General To Become First Female Commander Of New Jersey Air Guard
WHO/WHAT: Brig. Gen. Maria Falca-Dodson assumes command of the 2,300 Airmen of the New Jersey Air National Guard from Brig. Gen. Lawrence S. Thomas III. Falca-Dodson, a Ewing Township resident, will be the first female Air Guard commander in New Jersey which includes the 108th Air Refueling Wing at McGuire AFB and the 177th Fighter Wing in Pomona. She served as Deputy Adjutant General of New Jersey from March 2002 until this month.
