Media flight Aboard A New Jersey Air National Guard Tanker Aircraft For An Air-To-Air Refueling Mission

WHAT: Air-to-air refueling mission between a KC-135 and an F-16
WHEN: 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 20
WHERE: McGuire Air Force Base, N.J.
Details – On Tuesday May 20 at 11:00 a.m., accredited media representatives are invited to fly aboard a military tanker as it conducts a refueling mission. As part of the events leading up to Air Force Week in Philadelphia, the New Jersey Air National Guard is offering journalists the opportunity to fly aboard a KC-135 tanker from the 108th Air Refueling Wing, to experience an air-to-air refueling mission 30,000 feet above the ground. The aircraft involved in this mission will be the same ones that conduct the Memorial Day flyover of the Phillies game to kick-off Air Force Week in Philadelphia on May 26.
Media MUST contact Lt. Col. Garcia or 1st Lt. Kelly no later than 3 p.m., Friday, May 16 in order to gain entry onto McGuire Air Force Base. Media will need to be at the McGuire Visitor Center at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20.
