On Saturday, March 19, the 57th Troop Command, New Jersey Army National Guard will honor the 160 members of the 253rd Transportation Company, as well as their families and those who supported them during their mobilization and deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom at a Freedom Salute Ceremony at the Wildwood Convention Center in Wildwood.

      The public is invited to attend the ceremony, which will start at 9 a.m.  Convention Center parking is available.

      In addition to the troops' family members and friends, the event will include participation by Maj. Gen. Glenn K. Rieth, The Adjutant General of New Jersey, other local elected officials, community representatives, senior members of the New Jersey Army and Air National Guard, the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Ceremonial Detail, veterans organizations and Family Program and Family Support personnel from around the state.
