Details: Col. Jorge J. Martinez of Bloomfield takes over the reins of the 50th Brigade Combat Team (BCT) from Col. Frank Caruso. More than half of the New Jersey Army National Guard's 6,000 Soldiers are part of the 50th BCT. It will be a historic moment when Martinez accepts the colors as the first Hispanic commander of the largest major subordinate command in the New Jersey Army National Guard. |
