CWO Bacon Inducted Into Hall Of Fame

Bacon served more than 40-years in the military, first in the United States
Navy in the 1930s and then with the New Jersey Army National Guard where
he became one of the first distinguished marksman in both pistol and rifle.
His dedication resulted in the publication of the first marksmanship manual
for New Jersey Army National Guard members in the 1950s. His legacy,
which is in noted in today's local range training manuals, continues to
be a part of New Jersey Army National Guard marksmanship training. |
