Michael Princz (left), commander, 253rd Transportation Company; during an awards ceremony at the 253rd Transportation Company, New Jersey Army National Guard, located at the National Guard Armory at Cape May Courthouse. Staff Sgt. Godleski received the Army Achievement Medal for meritorious and dedicated service during Operation New Horizon 2001 in Honduras. Operation New Horizon is an annual nation-building operation, where National Guard and Reserve units are invited to assist in building infrastructure, including clinics, schools, and bridges in Central American countries. “Staff Sgt. Godleski’s extraordinary efforts and accomplishments were instrumental in completing the mission of the 253rd Transportation Company during this operation,” stated Capt. Princz. “Staff Sgt.
