Craft Project to Celebrate Armed Forces Day
On Saturday, May 21, at 1 p.m, in celebration of Armed Forces Day, a free craft class will be offered to area children accompanied by a parent at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Menlo Park, located at 132 Evergreen Road, Edison.
Together with residents of the facility, participants will create greeting
cards to send to troops stationed overseas. All materials, including
stickers, blank cards and pens were donated by Edison resident Eva Abreu,
and will be provided free of charge. |
