Public Notice Of Proposed Amendments To N.J.A.C. 5A:5

New Jersey Veterans Facilities

 

 


      The New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs, Office of the Adjutant General, Major General Glenn K. Rieth, has proposed amendments to the chapter governing New Jersey Veterans Facilities.

 

      The New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs proposes amendments to N.J.A.C. 5A:5, pursuant to authority of N.J.S.A. 38A:3-2.2, 2b, 6(o), 6.4, 6.5, 6.6, 6.8, 6.9 and 6.12.  Such amendments articulate the requirements for eligibility for admission, pre-admission screening, admission review and implementation, computation of the care maintenance fee for New Jersey veterans' facilities, and the basis for discharge or transfer from such facilities.

      The entire notice of proposed changes will be published in the New Jersey Register on March 6, 2006.  The public has 60 days in which to comment.  Persons wishing to make comments may do so in writing to:
