Media Advisory
New Jersey National Guard Soldiers Return From Afghanistan Deployment
WHO: Approximately 80 Soldiers of the New Jersey Army National Guard's 50th Personnel Service Battalion and 250th Personnel Services Detachment from the Lawrenceville Armory.
WHAT: Soldiers will get to see their families for the first time in nearly 14 months, since deploying to Afghanistan in support of the ongoing Global War on Terrorism. The Soldiers, who were mobilized in January 2006, were the only Army personnel service unit in Afghanistan servicing all the Army's personnel needs.
WHEN: Friday, March 2 @ 4:30 p.m.
WHERE: Recreation Center on Fort Dix
Media wishing to attend MUST REGISTER with the DMAVA Public Affairs Office at 609-530-6942 NLT 1 p.m. Friday.
This is to insure flight arrival time has not shifted and provided for proper escort onto Fort Dix. Media will report to the Visitors Center on Route 68 just before the Fort Dix Main Gate by 4:15 p.m. for escort on post. |
