Former Tuskegee Airman To Speak At 177th Fighter Wing Black History Month Luncheon
WHO: Retired Lt. Col. Thomas Highsmith, a former Tuskegee Airman and New Jersey Air National Guard Officer. In addition to Lt. Col. Highsmith's presentation, the Pleasantville Junior ROTC will be performing.
WHEN: Friday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m.
WHERE: 177th Fighter Wing, 400 Langley Road, Egg Harbor Twp.
WHAT: The 177th Fighter Wing Special Emphasis Committee will be hosting a luncheon in honor of Black History Month recognizing the achievements of African Americans past and present who have served in our Nation's Military.
Maj. Gen. Glenn K. Rieth, The Adjutant General of New Jersey and Brig. Gen. Lawrence S. Thomas III, Commander, New Jersey Air National Guard, will be at the event.
